ColourPale straw.
AromaCitrus, peach and apricots are clearly found, with supporting secondary notes of pear, lantana and figs.
PalateThe palate is fresh and clean, with luscious sweetness balanced by lovely acidity. Beautiful flavours come through from the nose, with citrus and apricot dominating, while the length and intensity of the wine are dazzling.
Growing ConditionsAn early and dry vintage of low to moderate crops, resulting in excellent intensity and depth of flavour across varietals.
Vinification/MaturationA block of Semillon was selected, based on freshness and cleanliness, then left to hang on the vine until the desired sugar and flavours levels were reached. This block was then hand-picked early in the morning and gently pressed with the ?free run? juice (~500L/t) sent to tank for a small fining and settling period. It was then cool fermented in stainless steel for ~18 days, when the fermentation was stopped early to obtain the perfect balance between acidity, alcohol and sugar. Bottled early to retain freshness of primary fruit.
