Introducing the next chapter in six generations of viticultural exploration – Alternis by McW. This collection of expressive alternate varietals are sourced from around the globe, flourishing in the rich Australian soil to bring some Mediterranean-inspired flair and ignite the imagination of our winemakers. This Mixed pack contains all five varietals of the Alternis range and includes a bonus bottle of Vermentino and Tempranillo in the pack to give you a dozen stunning wines for the festive season.

  • 2x bottles (+1 bonus) of McW Alternis Vermentino 2017: Vermentino is a delightfully complex yet refreshing white wine hailing from Sardinia. The aromas of honeydew melon and lemon excite the senses developing into exotic stone fruit and tangerine flavours that are complemented by bright acid for a minerally finish. Region: Riverina, NSW. Alc/Vol: 12%
  • 2x bottles (+1 bonus) of McW Alternis Tempranillo 2017: Tempranillo is one of Spain’s most elegant and food friendly wines. This wine is a celebration of youth with vibrant aromas of violets and red summer berries while generous dark cherry, pomegranate and blackcurrant flavours enliven the palate. Winner of 1 Trophy and 2 gold medals. Region: Gundagai, NSW. Alc/Vol: 13.5%
  • 2x bottles of McW Alternis Touriga 2017: Touriga is native to Portugal but is right at home basking in the Australian sun. Vibrant aromas of morello cherry and violet mingle with a palate of vibrant red fruits creating a juicy wine with tremendous length of flavour. 1 Trophy and 2 Golds. Region: Riverina, NSW. Alc/Vol: 13%
  • 2x bottles of McW Alternis Nero d’Avola 2017: The “Black grape of Avola”, originally a Sicilian varietal that has found a wonderful home in Victoria’s Heathcote region. This Nero d’Avola is a supple, medium-bodied style with a bright red fruit core. Fantastic driving, fine grained tannins round out this Australian example of a classic Sicilian grape variety. Region: Heathcote, VIC. Alc/Vol: 13.5%
  • 2x bottles of McW 660 Alternis Petite Sirah 2016: Petite Sirah is a French varietal that creates deeply coloured wines of great power. It fills the glass with aromas of black cherry and blood plum before caressing the palate with fine tannins and flavours of dark chocolate and subtle spice. Region: Riverina, NSW Alc/Vol: 14%
